042 - Paula's Sunflowers

Busy fabrics usually lend themselves to an edge to edge quilting design.  But a friend of mine had done an over-the-top sunflower on a quilt.  I showed the design to Paula, who let me do that to her quilt.

Paula had never entered a quilt in a show other than in the Wilbur Ag Appreciation Day Quilt Show.  I convinced her to put this quilt in the Lincoln County Fair.  She won a Best of Show Ribbon!  This quilt also won at the 2011 Ag Appreciation Day Quilt Show.
